Budget Basketball Ring.
Where budgets are tight or the basketball ring will not need to stand up to serious punishment, the budget basketball ring could be a genuine option. This budget basketball ring is for light school or domestic use, where the need for a traditional ‘anti-vandal’ ring would not be required. Once again the ring is powder coated and made of solid steel.
Spring loaded Basketball Ring.
The spring loaded basketball ring is for use in practice matches, school matches or competitive matches. We have installed these spring loaded basketball rings mounted onto steel frames of Perspex or acrylic backboards in almost every county in the country.

We have just completed our first Snapsports ‘Indoor Bounceback‘ sports floor installation in Ireland. We made our way down to Kilbrittain National School, Co. Cork early Monday morning. The full sportshall dimensions were 360 sqm, the school had requested contrasting vibrant colours; blue for the indoor basketball court and red for the run off areas. The court was line marked in white to complete the project. Our men completed the project in less than 3 days and the court will be ready to use just about now!

We are delighted to report that will be installing the Snapsports ‘Indoor Bounceback‘ sports floor in Kilbrittain National School’s, sportshall. The indoor basketball court will be bright blue, the run offs bright red and the finally the basketball keys will be coloured bright red. The sports floor installation will require approximately 4/5 days on site. We’ll post images and videos of the sports floor installation once the project is complete.

During the summer months we always try to complete outdoor sports installations. However given how poor this Irish summer has been we’ve recently completed indoor sports equipment projects for schools & sports centres.
Wall Mounted Basketball Units.
St. Marys new community centre, Edgeworthstown, Longford required a number of basketball units. The Community Centre now have 4 no. practice basketball units and 2 no. wall mounted basketball units which can be used and enjoyed for many years to come.
This week we fitted safety padding for a Montessori School in Dublin.
We were contacted around a week ago by Strand Montessori School, Sandymount, Dublin regarding the supply and installation of safety padding to a particular feature in their outdoor play area.
The feature in question was a large concrete pillar and the school thought it best to pad the pillar to prevent any possible accidents.
Fitness Functions designed, manufactured and fitted the customised safety padding within 7 days of the order.
The Safety Padding chosen.
The padding was manufactured using weatherproof impact padding wrapped in our heavy duty vinyl with a really strong velcro closure. The safety padding used was specifically designed to protect against impacts thus ensuring that no serious injuries will occur in the schools or play areas.

‘It’s has been the wettest June on record’ according to Met Eireann. Despite all this rain we have completed a number of Playground Marking projects for schools all around the country.
